Starting the knitted on border was a bit tricky at first… I didn’t realize that the beginning pattern was for both joining options as it ends in ktbl and I was opting for k2tog.

I don’t love the look of the final bind off because it has a little bit of a chopped off appearance, and I don’t love the hump in the collar area, either. I was hoping I could block out the hump, but I would have put too much stretch on the cable to get it straight. I did enjoy knitting the border, though.
