Testing this lovely slouchy beanie

This is a very well designed and well written pattern, super easy, with a double thickness brim and lovely details. It is a very stylised finished beanie. This is going to be a firm favourite:)

This knit to exact size of 22”, the height is 11” there is also plenty of stretch for larger heads ;)

Knit in Rowan’s Cashsoft Aran which has sadly been discontinued but is identical to Debbie Bliss’s cashmerino Aran :) It’s fabulous in this yarn which although thick is still drapey.

I am going to have a hard time keeping this as the 4 men in my house will be fighting over it!

The pattern calls for a worsted weight yarn so I am now going to knit it up again, maybe with 2 strands of The Uncommon Thread Merino fingering which I love or with a dk weight yarn such as Sublime baby cashmere merino silk dk
