After frogging echoes of colour because I didn’t like the colour combination I had chosen, I decided to make a 2 colour shawl instead. I need it to be in blues and really only had 2 that would work together..so this is it.
It’s a super simple pattern so far. I have added a pinstripe every 12 ridges (24 rows)
Started houndstooth at 123 stitches
I am not a fan of blues and rarely knit with blue but the friend this is for loves blue :)
Ended with 174 stitches
added a 2 row houndstooth and then picot bind off using the main colour.

Remaining yarn
23 gms of the Tosh Merino Light (107gm) = 84gm used
20 gms of the Colour Adventures (115gm) = 95gm used
Its a most unusual shape and I am interested to see how it blocks out

Very pleased with the final shawl which is really a cross between a shawl and long scarf as I used fingering weight yarn.
