Entered the luvinthemommyhood Summer Sweater Knitalong with the goal of finally finishing this sweater.

I have read many notes on Ravelry from people that have knit this cardigan and noticed a common complaint about the yoke being too restrictive. I knit mine longer than the pattern asked for. Possibly too long but we’ll see what happens.

8/6: bound off body! So close to getting done!

8/12: pattern says to knit sleeve to 17” but I’m stopping at 15”. I must have really short arms!

8/23: so close to being done. Both sleeves are complete. Today I did the attached I-cord. Designer suggested doing it on the top only but I followed another knitter’s suggestions and did it on the entire front. Also, used the attached I-cord to create button holes. Just have the left side to do and buttons to attach!

8/26: Finished the attached icord and waiting for the sweater to dry after it’s bath. Once it’s dry, it’s getting buttons.
