Instead of having his outfit in 3 colours, I used a Christmas red with silver through it (one by Bernat), hoping that should they recipient want to use a different scarf or hat it would be easier to match. I wanted to make the majority of the clothes removable, so I didn’t sew on the hat or scarf. Instead of embroidering his face and buttons I sewed on some beads and buttons instead. And I did not make a pompom for the top of his hat, I thought he was cute enough without one.
