I found this pattern and wanted to try it, then I remembered I had some Homespun to use.

It’s much easier using Homespun in this pattern because you don’t have to find where the stitches are, you work into spaces.

The pattern itself is a doddle. If you can make a granny blanket then you can make this.

I love the design: the way the fabric folds itself into the shape you need.

It’s so quick! I’ve done all the crochet in one day. It’s hard on the wrists though.

I’ve added a small collar (a few rows of sc) because my neck was cold.
