I felt that the beautiful design deserved a show-off border to go with it so designed a suitably themed one. The cartouches depict Tut’s birth name Tut ankh amun ruler of upper Heliopolis - Tutankhamun means the living image of Amun - and the smaller one is his thone name Neb Kheper U Re, Lord of the forms of Re.

For the border I used the same size needle as the work itself and picked up one for one on the sides and one from each garter ridge on the top and bottom and knit it in the round, stranded.
