homemade pattern: toe up with 1 by 1 right cable. cast on 2x16 stitches with magic cast on, increase every other row until you have 2x32. on the top side of foot: p1, RC (k2tog, knit into the first stitch again, slip both off left needle), p2 until you only have 3 stitches left,then RC, p1. knit all stitches under foot. finished toe-up gusset (a la baudelaire) and slip stitch toe-up heel flap, continue cable pattern all the way around after heel flap, finish with plain 2x2 rib for cuff.
