Notes

update july 20th 2011: the scarf (obviously) curls a ton, even after blocking. next time i would pick up and knit a border all the way around. this time i didn’t have enough yarn left over to do so :)

knitting lace on the knitting machine, mechanically pulling the carriages by hand but with computer control for the stitch manipulation. means i can finish a 100gram lace scarf in a few hours including finishing. i grafted the middle together so the pattern is the same on both ends hanging around someone’s neck. this is silk/merino/poly sock yarn from regia. blocked out to finished dimensions of 18cm x 166cm. notes for myself or other potential knitters: 52 stitches wide, pattern 145 in brother kh-930’s built-in memory.

next up: connecting it to the computer to make my own lace patterns.
