different yarn, different tension, different actual stitch pattern (fixed for starting edge). knit in one piece wide, folded, kitchenered across the bottom, and hand seamed with yarn along one side instead of sewing machine seaming. this yarn is much less prone to fuzzing after use in a laptop bag or purse. the first yarn was not a good choice. first version also had patterning error due to wrong container size on knitting machine. this one fixes that.

knit on a hacked brother kh-930. tension 6. 11 repeats wide (11x12 = 132 stitches wide). 3 repeats and 7 extra rows into repeat 4 tall (3x46 + 7 = 145 stitches tall plus 10 stitch plain at top edge). total weight: 141 grams.
