Notes

Used 450 yd (4.1 oz of yarn) for this project, including the rosette. This yarn is light but mighty! The original pattern is “Handpaint Scarf”, by Julie Finocharrio. I amended the pattern by increasing the number of stitches in the body of the scarf by 20%, as I used a different type & texture of yarn than described in the pattern. I also trimmed the scarf in a different border than written in the pattern, making it more ruffled looking and adding some beads. It’s finished with a matching rosette attached to a hand-felted back, and mounted on a hand made brass shawl pin.

This yarn was spun at Morning Sun Fiber Barn from our own Pygora goats at Gun Plain Pygoras.

Nothing like a soft, warm Pygora hug on a cold day!!
