Added length and width to the fronts and center back before joining. Knit for a few inches, increasing as pattern suggests, then changed to inc 1 st each end every 4th row. May a short rows on either side to lengthen fronts further.

6/19 - tried this on today, fronts are at y hips, back is at my lower back. This is lengthen a lot with steaming/blocking. I have 20 grams (just one oz) of yarn left, about the size of a golf ball. I’ll save some of the last bits to crochet around the arm holes.

6/20 - cast off. 3.7 g of yarn left!

Mods:

• lengthened arm holes by extending fronts and center back
• increased faster/more on center back to add width
• CO 10 sts for each under arm when joining fronts & back in one piece.
• after all pieces joined to knit flat, increased per pattern instructions until width was what I wanted, then increased 1 st each edge every row (like in pattern), but decreased 1 st at each “side seam” (approx. 55 sts from each edge).
