My golden knitted skirt is done. The edging went far more quickly than I anticipated. I did not even get bored! This skirt is definitely joining the “to write the pattern down” list!! :D

I have been eager to knit a skirt for so long. The colourmart contest give me the push I need:
I jump in the water and start today (May the 30th).
I haven’t yet decided how I will make the bottom of the skirt. But for the top, one word: simplicity. I do not want any drawstring hanging aroung my hips.

CO 8x22=176sts. with larger needles.
With smaller needles, knit 4 rounds.
Purl one round.
Knit 4 rounds
Knit while closing the elastic case.

Why oh why didn’t I note where the edging come from? I keep having to look for these, and the internet is getting worse. There are plenty of excellent ressources that have gone away. Bleargh
