Notes

My daughter’s Hermione hat is a great success. The combination yarn/pattern is excellent, we both love the resulting fabric so I am ready to commit to a large project with the yarn.
We originally wanted to do one of Vogue’s large cabled turtleneck, but I am pretty sur it is boring to knit and my daughter would swim in the sweater. So I am creating a custom designed, custom fitted, top-down sweater combining the hat’s lovely pattern and the idea of a large-ish turtleneck.

Dammit! I forgot to weight it before washing, so I won’t know for sure how much yarn I used (colourmart yarn is oiled).

It is almost dry - at last. I cannot wait to see her in it tomorrow. I hope I washed it enough. It seems to me it is not yet quite as fluffy as the hat.
