Total weight (washed, with hooks) = 150 gr (2450 yds, 2240 m.)
June 15th, 2013: After almost a year’s hiatus, it is back on the needles. I have 86 sts on the needles for the arm. I don’t know if I want to keep decreasing every 12 rows or continue straight. I have a few rows to find my rythm back and decide.
June 17th: Well the un-sewed hem turned out really nice. I think I’ll keep the rolled-edge.
I am a good way into the second sleeve. It’s going quite fast, but I am starting now to worry about the neckline edge. :)
June 19th, 2013 : I have finished both arms. I can try it on without any needle dangling out, and it is reassuring to see how nice it looks. I am thinking about trying to knit the neckline following the gradients. Not an easy task so I will sleep on the idea and see what tomorrow brings to me.
Below are the notes from last year’s work. I could not work on this in the winter months, and waited till the sun return to take it back. It is absolutely a summer project!!
July 27th: As the machine will not cooperate, i will compete with my bare hands. Yarn doubled, contiguous set-in sleeves, gradient colouring.
August, 5th: I have reached the underarm. It is going to be gorgeous! I have high hopes, which helps me keep going. It is NOT going quickly (small needles) but the larges stripes give me a good feeling of progress.
