Okay so I worked the first heel flap on the wrong side of the sock.
I ran a needle through either side of the first row of the heel flap & CUT!!
I then moved it to the other, correct side with the slipped stitches up the back, and used kitchener stitch to reattach it.
Of course I asked permission of Sarahbess in the Tour-de-socks tournament to make sure it was an acceptable mod.
