Notes

Swatched and ready to cast on for the Olympics. I don’t really expect to finish, but let’s see how far I can get!

Completing all the knitting is my goal for the gold medal. As in, blocking and seaming can happen after the flame is extinguished.

Needles:
2.75 mm for ribbing (between 7spi stretched and 13 spi unstretched)
3.00 mm for stockinette stitch (7.25 spi)
3.25 mm for lace (almost 7 spi)

Update: While I didn’t finish the knitting up during the Olympics, I’m still pleased to have knit a well-fitting fingering weight sweater in just a couple of months.

Update, December 2013:
I wear this sweater ALL THE TIME - by far the most-used garment in my collection. The scoop neck, cropped close fit, and fancy buttons fit well with my current style. That, and it matches almost everything.
