Stash-busting: used a skein of super-double-thick chunky handspun Maid Marion Cottage Industries yarn that I plied with a red on my spinning wheel. My first go at plying and it was mostly successful. Lots of bugs to work out.
I plan to maybe line this hat with a cashmere sweater lining, handsewn. We’ll see.
