Notes

The yarn is silvery and will match my silver waterproof which, since we’re hiking to the registry office from our campsite, will form an essential part of the wedding outfit.

This pattern and yarn combo are, I hope, perfection. The “theme” of the wedding (marriage alone on an island, party later on the mainland next to a wetland) is watery. The sea is very important to me. I wanted something in Shetland lace (because the island is Scottish) but in a less traditional shape. I saw this pattern and its name and all the pieces knitted into place. Added to which I won a discount code for a Romi pattern and had been unable to decide which one to use it with.

Since I’m also planning to knit for the party I’m going to have to get a move on with everything!

Finished repeat 9 of chart C. Assuming I have enough yarn for the tall version. Carting the project back and forth to work. No bicycle oil on it (so far) but definitely some coffee. Sigh.
