Adorable sweater. Used very little yarn. I bought the purple yarn from a friend, who had found it at a thrift store for $3.50. I think I only used 3 balls of it, in the end!

The cat was done with some old Patons Angelica I had on hand, held along with a double strand of mystery pink mohair. The Professor has a nice halo from that mix!

Used Istex Lett Lopi (double stranded) for the nose and eyes - the hairiness of that yarn merged well with the mohair blend cat and alpaca main colour.

Stranded the pink cat colour over the eyes and nose rather than using separate sources of pink on either side. Eyes and nose are small enough, it worked fine. Did intarsia everywhere else.

Used smaller needles for sleeve and neck.

Gauge before blocking: 15 sts/4”
Gauge after blocking: 12 sts/4”
