Did a cable cast-on

Gauge was measured on a washed and blocked swatch.

Mods: I’m putting a buttonhole on every 11th row of the chart instead of every other because I didn’t want it to gape open when buttoned.

Also, I find it helpful to put a locking stitch marker around the stitch where a button will be attached. I do this after every buttonhole row. A good thing to remember though is that while the button hole is at the 4th stitch from the edge, the button will be placed at the 3rd stitch from the edge because of the way the two sides will overlap. This insures perfect placement of my buttons when the time comes to sew them on.
