Notes

I have 6 great colors of spud & chloe sweater left over from another project… so I’m making a striped tunic to use them up! The yarn is soooo fabulous!

My plan is to keep going until I run out of yarn… I’m hoping I have enough to make a sleeveless dress.

5/2: So far, here are the changes I’ve made to the pattern:

  • I cast on 148 sts and am working 2 more sets of increases to make it less boat-neck
  • I am using m1 increases instead of kf&b, because I like the finished look better
  • ribbing is 1.5” at the top.

5/4: Sleeves added! I added 1” of ribbing to the sleeves, so they’ll be really short. I’m working my way down the tunic :)

5/9: I’m onto my third and fourth colors… I had been hoping to stripe so that the different sets of colors overlapped more, but it didn’t work out. It’s going to end up being pretty crazy! It’s working up really fast on these needles… and I LOVE the yarn: it has great stitch definition, and it’s super-soft!

5/15: done! I really love it, and can’t wait to wear it out! As you can tell by the photos, I made it to dress-length with my yarn.
