You are making me crazy
I’m in love but I’m lazy

My relationship to the pattern reminds me of the Beatles song “Honey Pie.” I loved the pattern and loved the yarn, but the process of making it drove me crazy. When I started I thought it’d take me three weeks, but thanks to the mistake in the pattern it ended up taking more like 10 weeks to complete. Please see Bienchen’s project page for the mistake correction. Not the hardest pattern as long as you’re aware of the mistake, though. I also picked up 10 extra stitches around the neck for more of a boatneck effect.

Now that it’s finished I love it!!! Wear it all the time. The retro vibe it gives off is wonderful, and the color is too pretty (inspired by CarmineZuigiber’s version, although my color is a little different than hers). Also, Quince & Co. gets 10/10 in my book. Using it was a nice break from Knit Picks yarn; I plan to use it in future projects when I can afford to.
