I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with this yarn (Malabrigo Merino Worsted that I bought two years ago) for eons, and I finally found a cool-looking sweater pattern using it. I tried making this with it but Malabrigo’s single-ply nature didn’t lend itself to the texture. Hoping for a better result with this…

Also brighter than it looks in the pic. Is not so pinky, and more red, than it looks here. Have to make sure to take FO pics outside.

UPDATE 9/21: Done with back at long last, but it looks micromini. Not thrilled. Will have to stretch a lot with blocking.

UPDATE 8/9: Progressed on the back. Still a long way to go. The cables look better now that they’re not so loose.

UPDATE 8/6: Am further along now than I was when I frogged, but it’s still coming kinda slowly.

UPDATE 8/2: Frogged my original attempt because it was (of course!) too loose. I am the loosest knitter in the world; I hate it. Going to go down another needle size and start anew.
