I love this sweater, deeply and truly. I never expected to knit a sweater from laceweight, big needles or no. But this is light and airy, but keeps you warm against the chill of summer air conditioning.

The primary difficulty I encountered while knitting was inertia - there’s a lot of stockinette here. And it took me nearly a month from finishing the body to picking up for the band in front. But once that was done, it was smooth sailing.

And you can hardly tell that I knit the sleeves two different lengths….
