Notes

This hat - a cascade of anemone petals - was a joy to knit. The stitch pattern is simple, and very easy to memorize - this combined with a 4.5mm needle make it a quick and effective knit: a beautiful textured hat that will keep your head and ears toasty warm in the winter!

The pattern comes in three sizes (baby to adult), and has two different style options - beanie and earflap hat. I made a small modification in the very last section in order to have the contrasting gray edge, and knit the last row of the front and back separately with the mustard yarn, before a last knit round and bindoff with the gray yarn.

The stitch pattern is written out only.

The yarn is one of my favorite - it’s got very good stitch definition as well as structure.
