The mittens are really beautiful, but I did have some problems with the pattern.

ERRATA:

  • cast-on 8-8 stitches (not 7-7), figure-8 cast on.
  • thumb: continue increasing until you have 8-8 stitches (not 7-7).

JOINING THUMB TO MITTEN:
knit all (or half, depending whether it’s left or right mitten) mitten stitches, place stitch mark, knit ALL thumb stitches, place stitch mark. Stitch marks optional, but will help with the placement of the decrease stitches in the following rows.

CUFFS:
Stitch count: 36 stitches in total. Cable rib pattern is 5 stitches. Make 7 pattern repeats (35 stitches), p1.
