15 Aug - finished. though the lace pattern is easy, and easy to memorize, i didn’t seem to be able to master it, and made lots of errors throughout. i did become quite good at noticing them quickly, and fixing them though!

I made size S, but the neckline is too tight (it will never get buttoned), even though I ripped it twice, tried to cast on as loosely as possible, and eventually cast on and knitted the first row with a 5.5mm needle.

I found the sleeves’ cuffs too wide, so I decreased stitches (k3, k2t repeat) in the last row of the lace stitch before the garter stitch cuff.

I didn’t like this Malabrigo yarn when I used it for my Lily sweater, but I rather like it in this project, and I think that the variegated color suits perfectly the lace stitch pattern.

It grew considerably during blocking (but I was prepared for it - more on this soon).
