Finally, a heel I like: fits perfectly, it’s easy to make, it can be adapted to any sock pattern, and it looks great - the perfect heel for me.

I wanted some eyelet pattern for these soft blue and beigie yarn, but not too dense because I don’t like too many ‘holes’ in my winter socks. I chose the quatrefoil from Barbara Walker’s Treasury and love it. It’s a 7st repeat, and I did 3, with a 2 k st interval (2, 7, 2, 7, 2, 7, 2 = 29).
