Very well written and super detailed pattern, with stitch pattern charts as well as written instructions.

There are some lovely details in the design, and I particularly like how the stockinette stitching transitions to the lace pattern through a cabled section. I also love the bell sleeves.

The lace stitch pattern is very easy to memorize, but it did get a little repetitive after a while.

The one mod I would do is to the edging (and didn’t do because it would have involved ripping back a million edging stitches). I think picking up 3 every 4 stitches for the front sides, instead of 2 every 3, would have made the edging more even. As it is, the front sides have a different structure from the back, and are slightly shorter. As a result the back tends to sag.

The yarn, alpaca from Norway, is one of my favorites: beautiful to work with and to wear, soft and warm, almost weightless, and very inexpensive for untreated wool. The color, described as “petrol” is a blend of forest green and bright blue that none of the photos really captures. I used 5 balls and just a little bit of the sixth.
