I was looking for a simple pattern for my boy, who doesn’t like anything too fussy or textured or colorful, and this pattern is certainly it: it pleases the recipient, and the knitter alike (because of the very clever crown decreases).

Because I’m an Italian mamma, I made two of them - to be sure my college boy would be well equipped for a colder climate :) I didn’t keep any of the yarn bands or any project notes. I did have a hard time getting gauge, and it does tend to run large.
