I love this clever and creative pattern! After knitting it, you’ll never look at a “simple” slip or knit stitch the same “simple” way again, and you’ll have learned that they hold so many creative possibilities!

The tubular cast on was a little challenging, and I twisted my stitches several times. The hat ribbing is purl/knit, so if you follow the tutorial the pattern links to (knit/purl ribbing), you need to take that into account when you cast on.

MODS: because I used some leftover yarn, not quite a full 50grams, I had to omit some of the rounds around the crown, and from row 35 worked a decrease every row.
