Knitted in light fingering merino (terracotta color) and kidsilk (pale pink) by Lanar, Milan, worked together.

It’s a very long garter stitch crescent shawlette - worked from one end to the other, like a scarf - with simple lace edges that aren’t charted (which is a shame), but written out only. I loosely followed the pattern, since I wanted more of a scarf than a shawlette, and so worked fewer increases in order to get the mid-point not quite as deep as the pattern calls for.

I made this pattern once before a few years ago, but I didn’t really like the color, and I never wore it until this winter, when I discovered what a great shape and how comfortable it is to wear it! I had to make another one, in a color I like better. Success.
