A big thanks to Paola for introducing me to Wendy Johnson’s toe-up sock patterns! I started with the slip-stitch heel pattern because I’d seen my friend and knitter extraordinaire Sindy (I love how knitting connects one with people!) make a pair like that, and it seemed a good idea to knit a sturdy heel. However, I don’t like too much how it feels on, so my next pair of socks will not have a slip-stitch heel.

The yarn is wonderful, and I love this burgundy colorway.
