Following Elizabeth Zimmermann’s advice in “Knitter’s Almanac”, I knitted mittens for next winter in May.

This is the second time I knit this pattern, for myself this time, and - again - it didn’t disappoint.

Extra points for the yarn, which is beautiful. Colorway Orgeat is the color of raw sea salt - an off-white with a slight grayish tinge to it.
