I keep making heart patterns. This one was for the Phat Fiber Sampler Box February 2011 “Gemstones & Minerals”. I made a heart themed pattern for last year and designed another heart for this year.

The inspiration for this pattern came from a mitered square failure. I realized that I had the start of a heart and carried on with the failed mitered square.
Thanks to the super secret group for the idea!

In doubled worsted weight, these knit up very fast!
The tiny hearts use about 3 gram of fingering weight yarn.

The first picture has a pink & purple heart of my custom dyed WC Mercantile’s (wcmercantile.com) Merino & Tencel fingering weight yarn. The third picture shows a loveley Oruaka button (oruaka.etsy.com). The 5th picture also shows my Krock Socks Childrens size 8/9, pattern coming soon!
