The foot model for the top 2 photos is my lovely daughter Natalie, accomplished cellist, tennis player and reluctant modeler of my knitted designs.

This model is knit of a light pink double stranded RHWWSS. Knit on size 8 needles, this creates a cushy, stand on it’s own, durable slipper. As you can see in the photos, the ears and the sides stay up on their own.

These are also inspired by Ralphie’s demented bunny slippers in “A Christmas story” and the cover of Lolly Winston’s Good Grief.

The pattern contains sizes from small to large women’s sizes, but if you are determined to make one in adult men’s sizes, it would not be difficult. The pattern also includes my Lucky Rabbit Baby Bootie pattern which was my contribution to the Phat Fiber Sample Box January 2011 “Chinese New Year”.
