Notes

So, turns out Joan Holloway and I have a somewhat similar figure, and as I like how her figure looks in her dresses, I thought I’d try to make one for myself.

Body and sleeves of the dress are double crochet with the exception of a few yards of single crochet worked at my waist. Trim is in single crochet. Buttons are hand sewn.

It’s Patons Classic Wool for the body of the dress and Caron Simply Soft for the trim. Very comfortable to wear; fits great. Washes without a hitch.

I am very proud of those sleeves, which are probably the best sleeves I’ve ever made. Probably the best arm holes, too. Not great at either.
