The hat, easy. The icord, tedious, but okay with an Embellish Knit and a long drop (I stood on a second floor overlook and just let it trail to the ground to get the really long cord without too much twist)

Takes. So. Long. To sew on the icord. I use a needle and yarn, running the needle up the middle of the icord, coming out, then catching a “v” underneath the icord in the knit of the hat. It doesn’t show on the inside of the hat at all. Makes for a bit of a helmet, though!

Cast on 112, knit 1.5” 2x2 ribbing, then stockinette until hat was 5.5” tall. Started decreasing 8 per round every third round 2x, then every 2 rounds until the last few, then every round. Hat’s about 8” tall and 17” in diameter, unstretched.

Oodles of icord with a Embellish Knit - works great as long as there’s lots of tension on the output side and NO tension on the input side.
