This is my first time knitting in the round, and I’ve torn out this project a few times (so many that I had to cut off the yarn the last time - the yarn was shedding and fuzzing and splitting). This will most certainly NOT be perfect, but I’m enjoying the challenge!

The reason I’m only giving the pattern a 4 star rating is that there isn’t a whole lot of info about how to do the short rows - just to use your favorite method. As a beginner knitter, I just followed the directions… and ended up with a project full of holes. I was going to just leave it and deal, but I decided to rip it out… again… and fix it with the help of the above youtube video.

I learned a lot through this project. Aside from how to do short rows, I learned to “pick” (I’m typically a “throw” knitter in the little bit I’ve done), I learned to k2tog, and I learned how to use DPNs. Next stop… socks =)
