2/24 I had read that Ghost Orchid was the most challenging pattern in this particular book, but so far, so good. Almost done with chart A and no issues.

I meant to note the snags and troubles and workarounds that I have run into during my progress and it appears I have not done that at all. There’s some errata that you need to familiarize yourself with ahead of time, and another raveler has noted some issues and some fixes they found for themselves. Right now I am at chart D and I have noticed my stitch count seems to be off, but that’s fine, I am going to power through it.

I absolutely did NOT have over one thousand stitches jammed on an 8-inch circular needle. That is not why my needle broke and 200+ stitches fell off and unraveled.

I HAVE FINISHED. This was not a difficult knit, per se. And once I moved the project to a longer circular, things went much more smoothly. I think the crochet hook I used for the edging is several sizes smaller than what it should have been, but eh. Whatever. I think in total, the edging took about 6 hours.
