I knit the smallest size and went down a size with the needles and yet this is still enormous. Maybe one day I will learn the value of swatching (probably not.)

I did not do the short rows before the hem because I was knitting outside at night, in the dark, and I couldn’t refer to the pattern. I just skipped the short rows and went straight for the hem and the bind-off. I’m not sure what the difference is, but if I ever knit this again, I will give it a try.
