7/21/08: finished! blocked dimensions are 8’x1’… yes, eight feet. ridiculous. i think i did 6 increase row repeats and over 30 straight row repeats. i wanted to use up all the yarn i had (940 yds) but i still have a bunch leftover-- i knew if i kept going it would be a disaster.

i am SO in love with how this turned out. the blocking photos don’t really show the beauty… hopefully i’ll get some action shots next weekend

5/12/08: casting this on-- no real deadline which means this will almost definitely be thrown into the wip bin for the summer months. i’m going to make a smaller version since the yarn is a much smaller gauge than the pattern calls for
