12/28/2010: finished up last night. many many thanks to muchadored for the inspiration to do stripes! i love it!

11/7/2010: cast on last night while watching tv and followed the wrong pattern for about three hours. boo. ripped it all out and started again. hopefully, it’ll be done before it gets super cold-- i can’t wait to have a giant shawl to wrap up in!
