03/10/09: ha. finally decided last week to rip out the sleeves and redo them. took about two days… sewed them on that night… finished cardi. now all i need is to sew in ends and take a FO photo! this was totally the wrong yarn for the pattern… even though it makes gauge, the drape isn’t quite right and it feels plasticy. kind of a waste of time. when steamed, the stockinette section flattened out and expanded while the seed st didn’t so now the front has these weird points (see 2nd pic). it’s not very flattering but OK for a second sweater i guess. i learned a lot of lessons.

01/12/08: psh. let’s see if this ever gets done. as of right now, the front and back are done, but casting on the sleeves doesn’t even look remotely like it will happen anytime soon. in other news, i love this pattern and yarn.

11/22/07: about half way through the front right side. i have to put this on hold for a little, though-- got a commission of some importance that needs to be done first. hopefully this will get done within the month.

11/17/07: finished the front right side today. this is knitting up much faster than i thought it would-- i haven’t been working on it a lot but its getting done.

11/3/07: my 2nd sweater! i’m excited :)
