Knitting this as part of the Give Me Colour KAL to make use of two colours of Holst Garn Coast. The yardage from the little yarn balls is amazing!

1 September - Time to swatch! On 3.5mm:
Unblocked: 28s x 29r (eek!)
Blocked: 24s x 32r (yay!)

Front to marker: 60r

To allow for the change of gauge after blocking, I knit to where I want to begin the stripes, measured the length from the shoulder to that point, and calculated that I need to knit an extra 1” before I begin the stripes.

The arm holes had looked very large as I knit but when I put the trim on them they went back to a more reasonable size.

Apart from changing colours and using a slightly smaller needle for the arm/neck bands because I didn’t have the recommended size, I followed the pattern as written but I found it ambiguous in a few places - it was a bit more confusing than it needed to be for a straight forward knit.
