Notes

Making up socks for little feet. I don’t have the shoe size so I’m keeping fingers crossed this works.

CO 48 st.
k3 p1 rib for 4” (around 42 rows)
Heel and gusset
Then stockinette over the 48 st for 6” (around 45 rows from the heel side’s pick-up stitches) before toe decreases (every second row on the sides of the foot until there are 24 stitches remaining) and kitchener grafting the toe for a 7.5” length foot.

I’ve been referencing foot sizes from the Craft Yarn Council.

3 October 2015 - First sock finished except for weaving in and deciding how to add the toe lines.

6 October - Second sock finished except for kitchenering the toe, and then to add toe lines to both.

8 October - After staring at photos of other similar socks, and tiger paws, I realised that the lines I’ve seen are actually the tiger’s nails, not the toe divisions. I decided to duplicate stitch them in grey.
