09 Jan - Cast on

11 Jan - 6 sections complete and I’ve hit the slower rows… contemplating adding stripes or other pattern changes to keep me going.

18 Jan - The looong rows take time. I’m starting the garter edge section.

20 Jan - I didn’t have enough yarn to do more than a handful of garter edge rows (I should have bought another ball of yarn and continued, but, oh well). I did the sewn bind off and it took a very long time, lots of arm exercising because I was over cautious with the length of the yarn tail. The edge looked very curly straight off the needles, but it flattened out after blocking (the wiggliness in the photo is because it’s just been unpinned but that should smooth out with a bit of use).
