My blocked gauge is 23s/32r so I’ve done my calculations and decided to do the M but it will be a bit smaller than the M size which should fit me well. I expect I’ll need to do some other size modifications as I go.

4 December 2015 - I cast on and started the collar, all going well so far. When I’m starting the WS, I bring the new yarn colour over the top of the old yarn colour and I think this will make a neat RS edge.

I also modified the placement of the button holes by starting them one stitch earlier.

24 January 2016 - With a few breaks in between, I’ve finished the body now. I decided to adjust the number of increases at the the hips to make it a better fit for my body shape, and I had to add two extra stitches at the start of the hem to make up for the two stitches I “stole” from the body for my wider button bands.

31 January 2016 - First sleeve completed!

7 February 2016 - Second sleeve complete, time to weave in ends, block, add buttons and photograph…

It took a while to find buttons.. and even longer to photograph :)

All up my cardigan weighs 330g.
