Notes

I’m making these up as I go along because I’ve been itching to cast on this gorgeous yarn. I’m a big fan of brown and this yarn will make a beautiful pair of gloves.

This will be the first pair of gloves with fingers that I’ve knit :)

27 April - First glove done! Loving the yarn and the fit.

7 May - Second glove finished! Absolutely love them. They’ll keep my hands warm this winter.

I looked at a number of different patterns to get a sense of how to knit the fingers but overall they’re like the thumbs I’ve knit on many mittens. I picked up extra stitches each time I joined a finger and then decreased those extra stitches on the next round to avoid holes (but I did leave long yarn tails to patch up a few looser stitches when I wove them in).

I loved knitting with the Hedgehog Fibres sock yarn! I’m definitely picking up more of it in the future.
